Glashütte has been the epicentre of German watchmaking excellence since the mid-18th century, and despite a tumultuous 20th century, the Glashütte Original brand emerged as the natural, and officially designated, inheritor of the region's excellent horological reputation.

This elegant, beautiful timepiece uphoalds that storied reputation with a uniquely Glashütte take on the moon phase complication. Incorporating many of the region's characteristic design features, such as the blued steel screws, stripe finish and swan-neck fine adjustment.

HAND CRAFTED DETAILS

Each Glashütte timepiece is hand-crafted in the Manufacturer's workshop, and the PanoMaticLunar is no different - the fine detailed moon phase is sculpted and finished entirely in-house and the rotor is a beautiful example of the tradition of hand-carved balance bridges.

The 40mm PanoMaticLunar case, water resistant to 5 bar (50 metres) is crafted from stainless steel and features a silver dial, silver indices and blued steel hands. The deep blue of the moon phase matches the hands, while the panorama date window adds a touch of bold contrast to the elegant aesthetic.

Powering the timepiece is the automatic in-house Calibre 90-02 chronometer movement, with a 42hr power reserve. To finish, a black Louisiana alligator strap complements the design perfectly.
